Progress

Hang up your Chisels and Plane blades and take a load off with a recently turned goblet of your favourite poison, in the lounge of our Gentlemen's (and ladies) Club.

Great find Rod.

I'll show this to Mrs P as she doesn't believe we've evolved from monkeys. I think this pretty much proves we do. 8-)

The sad thing is that there are huge numbers of people who think that "logic" in that diagram shows why evolution didn't happen. This diagram was done originally by creationists as anti-evolution propaganda. "If humans evolved from apes, how come there are still apes?" Some 40% of the USA, for instance, subscribes to this idiocy.

Probably the same lot & quite a few more Mike who believe the earth is less 10,000 years old, though to be fair 25% believe the sun revolves around the earth :eusa-snooty:

That looks like a great day trip, because it is just a quarter of an hour from Chartwell (Churchill's house), and a stone's throw from Biggin Hill, where my dad was stationed in the war.

My MiL volunteers at Chartwell. Let me know if you're ever there and I'll get her to hook you up with free tea and scones ;)
