PMs

Hang up your Chisels and Plane blades and take a load off with a recently turned goblet of your favourite poison, in the lounge of our Gentlemen's (and ladies) Club.

PMs

I apparently have a message 'on hold' with the following quote...

"You have 1 private message currently on hold because of full folder.
Release all on-hold messages… they will be re-sorted into the appropriate folder if enough space is made available."

What do I do you lovely ole Mods you?

I've deleted several old messages but this quote is still appearing with 1 message oh hold. :P

Once you have space in your inbox, run the mouse over that message and an HTML link word will change colour showing you need to click on it.

AIUI, Mark has been looking to make the link word permanently visible in a different colour without success!
Either that or he is totally absorbed by his workshop build.....

Nah I just can't find the right setting to change it. Interesting you say it changes colour for you though Bob as even when it's ripe for a clickin' for me it never changes colour...

Hmm! Well I think it changes colour? I will try and remember to look next time my in box overflows.
Incidentally I have completely lost all YouTube inserted links when looking from PC. Have they gone from your legacy Apple set up too?

Sorry chaps, it's happening again. I couldn't actually work out how to do it last time. Although I have apparently had (1 new message) for some time, I haven't been able to see it or open it. I now apparently have (2 new messages) but the inbox isn't indicating any new messages and the old quote is visible again...

"You have 2 private messages currently on hold because of full folder.
Release all on-hold messages… they will be re-sorted into the appropriate folder if enough space is made available."

I've since deleted several old messages, but still no new ones, and I know there are at least 2 new messages waiting for me to open.

Am I missing something here? :P

Once you have made space you still have to use the link in the "you have messages waiting" to bring them into your inbox to view.

I have had this problem before but can't remember how to solve. Is there a check box somewhere to release the on hold messages?

Cheers

We would like to make that link stand out in a different colour but so far that has been a bridge too far!!
