Overload

Hang up your Chisels and Plane blades and take a load off with a recently turned goblet of your favourite poison, in the lounge of our Gentlemen's (and ladies) Club.

Overload

In our local news was a piece about a lorry that had been caught 30% overweight.
It was carrying a load of Thermalite blocks which had been left uncovered overnight during heavy rain. The extra weight was absorbed rain water - poor driver was fined and given penalty points.

Sorry, Guys.

I've dealt with the consequences of an overladen lorry's brakes failing on a hill .

The operators and drivers are professionals in that industry and should be aware of issues of rainwater increase the weight of their load.

The fine is pitiful and in no way reflects the consequences of the offence.
