Now the clocks have changed and there's less natural daylight, don't forget to take your Vit D tabs. I don't do any extra vitamin supplements (a waste of money) except D and SWIMBO reminded me yesterday to start taking them again - Rob

We take 10 mcg everyday on Doctors advice and like Rob is the only supplement we take.

There's exactly the same amount of daylight today as there would have been if the clocks hadn't changed.

It’s the lack of sunshine in the U.K. which leads to a deficiency of vitamin D. Food alone cannot provide enough. It’s essential for healthy bones.

GPs here dish it out to the kids in a liquid phial twice a year and adults once a year in the winter.
