More Mirth

Hang up your Chisels and Plane blades and take a load off with a recently turned goblet of your favourite poison, in the lounge of our Gentlemen's (and ladies) Club.

More Mirth

On Radio 2 just now, I just heard Anneka Rice introduce Dusty Springfield's 'You don't have to say you love me'. by inviting everyone to sing along, and then said 'Big Breaths!" just before it started.

I fell about laughing!

Can anyone remember which film that expression came from?!

Carry On Matron....Barbara Windsor IIRC

Talking of films, does anyone remember a film where our hero and heroine are being chased through a field of wheat or corn by a combine harvester ?

Doctor at Large. 1957

Doctor: (wielding stethoscope to listen to teenage girl's airways) "Big breaths, Eva"

Eva: (with a lisp) "Yeth, and I'm only sixthteen".
