Hang up your Chisels and Plane blades and take a load off with a recently turned goblet of your favourite poison, in the lounge of our Gentlemen's (and ladies) Club.

Found this youngster on our drive. Now safely in our back garden eating some dog food.

You are right about that - comes around at about five pm for a feed these last few afternoons.
I might have to make a hedgehog house for the winter if this continues.

They are good for the garden as they eat snails and slugs.
Regards,
Dave
My tool kit is almost complete, only a few more to get.

I saw our hedgehog around midnight last Saturday night. It was about a year since I last saw one, on that occasion it was in the dark again but on that occasion it was eating the remnants out of the cats bowl.

He’s becoming a regular visitor, though switched to just before it’s getting dark at 7:45.

With your undoubted box making skills Rod I am sure you could knock up a nest box in no time. The country needs more hedgehogs. They would make great Xmas pressies too. the boxes not the hedgehogs
The more the merrier.
I do not think therefore I do not am.
cheers

Some years ago we used to have a hodgeheg that lived under the workshop (as it's got a suspended floor with lots of nice cool space underneath) Very sadly, one morning I found our little beastie floating upside down in the pond
I guess he'd gone for a drink in the night and fallen in - Rob
