Mainly some sort of fir/spruce cut down this year to open up the view. I've got other piles dotted about the place from last year. Really need to get them cut up and in the dry.
If opportunity doesn't knock, build a door.

3/10 for the the neatness of you piles.
You need to get 'em split too roger. They will dry quicker and burn easier when split.

+1 it is so much easier to split green logs! Even a delay of a couple of months makes a hell of a difference.

For straight logs I use one of these
For more awkward logs I use a twisted splitting wedge like this.
