Eyes in the sky ?

Hang up your Chisels and Plane blades and take a load off with a recently turned goblet of your favourite poison, in the lounge of our Gentlemen's (and ladies) Club.

Eyes in the sky ?

I keep a weather eye on NOTAMs to see if there is anything interesting coming up at RAF Spadeadam just up the road. Today I came across this one..

Interesting routing but I'm not holding my breath as all to often these things get cancelled.

But then I came across this event

If I read it correctly then you might as well forget SatNav perhaps for the duration over quite a large area up here :o

I'd have to shoot you if I told you lol
Just think of how many things in normal 2018 life would go wrong if access to gps was denied.

Good idea.

On a completely separate note, can I borrow your phone to make a quick call?

Are we not trialling our own GPS system in case Brexit means we cannot have access to the EU system? Wonder if this is a test of ours and they do not want interference?

Or that could have been another Brexit scare story! Pretty sure I read a proper article on us developing our own technology however.....
