Hang up your Chisels and Plane blades and take a load off with a recently turned goblet of your favourite poison, in the lounge of our Gentlemen's (and ladies) Club.

Made from individual crocheted flowers some of which bear the names of the Fallen.

I wonder how much wool they used?
Our local haberdasher was selling kits to make the poppies - don’t know what they were going to do with them.
Did anybody watch “100 Days to Victory”
about the final days of WW1?
An Australian/Canadian joint production on how their 2Generals introduced “modern tactics” (Tanks supporting Infantry with creeping artillery barrages and airplane support) to blast through the German lines.

We have a display on the tower of St Peters in Sudbury.
There are over 23000 poppy's with some purple ones for the animals that died.
Regards,
Dave
My tool kit is almost complete, only a few more to get.

I can't help thinking that all the effort and expense of these displays would not be better focussed on direct help to our ex-service men and women.

Not sure how practical your suggestion is since I suspect that all those displays have been produced by little old ladies at home.
