Travis'd again

Hang up your Chisels and Plane blades and take a load off with a recently turned goblet of your favourite poison, in the lounge of our Gentlemen's (and ladies) Club.

Travis'd again

Before (actually it did green up extremely well)

After

The tree has to go as well now. SWMBO had planned to grow a rose over it.

And I have 6 tons of loam soil and gravel now to shift by hand. :(

So why did he drive right off the hard drive way?
Should he not of just backed down the drive?
Hopefully he tipped the farmer for getting him out.
Regards,
Dave

We were inteneding for it to reverse down the grass in front of the house so he could crane off the dumpy bags, let them hover over the raised beds, a quick slash with the Stanley...job done. We did it twice before. We just hadn't realised how much water was in the ground.

He should have called a halt before he got bogged down any further.

No I did...then yesterday had a 'discussion' with the branch manager. It was a hard call TBH to decide what to do. It's my local branch, I get on well with the guys and let's face it, everybody seems to now everybody up here ! And I didn't really want to drop the driver in it as he's always 'gone the distance' for us.

So I decided to take some photos, go down to the branch, go inside and, if the manager was there, see what he had to say and take it from there. I went in and he just looked at me blankly. He did know what had happened. No apology. Nothing. Nada. So I thought 'Sod yer' and dug my heels in.

when i worked for jewsons and a local firm, if the customer wanted us to drive off a hard road we had to get a form signed that absolved us from any damage done and passed any recovery costs on to the customer. didnt drive off road much!!
