Foiled again

Hang up your Chisels and Plane blades and take a load off with a recently turned goblet of your favourite poison, in the lounge of our Gentlemen's (and ladies) Club.

Something similar but unconnected.

I was at my dad's second wedding in the early 90's (I wasn't at the first one :D ) and retreated into the kitchen for a natter with somebody. Whilst there I spotted a Greek chap who (as I learned afterwards was unfamiliar with our 'ways' in the UK) was after a mug of tea (or similar) so he got hold of the Russell Hobbs electric kettle and filled it with water....so far so good.
I then watched him saunter over to the gas ring, place said expensive kettle on the ring, turn on the gas and then light it. It was a fairly jaw dropping moment  - Rob

How about a meat tray under the floor boards to catch a slow dripping leak?

Had the aforementioned meat tray been plastic the bodger who put it there may have got away with it, but it was metal and had started to rust away.
I do not think therefore I do not am.

cheers
