Great day!

Hang up your Chisels and Plane blades and take a load off with a recently turned goblet of your favourite poison, in the lounge of our Gentlemen's (and ladies) Club.

Great day!

Just to show you that there is still a sun .........................

We are expecting a high of 26c today with some clouds later on.

This is a view from my study.

And we have just had our first half inch of snow this winter having missed all previous. Think I'd rather be in SA.

Gee thanks Phil. I have just donned another fleece (two) making a 5th layer of clothes, put my thermal beanie on, grabbed my thermal gloves, and my boots are sitting in front of the fan heater so that I don't have to cut off my frostbitten toes at lunchtime with a Swiss Army Knife.

Enjoy your sun. ;)

Not envious at all - we've got snow - only an inch or two which seems to be melting fast.

The best investment I made was putting a suspended ply floor and central heating in the workshop. 8-)

Ok, I'll get my coat.

Looks like another 26c day! 8-)

Some low cloud moving through, should burn off by tea time.

We'll be lucky to get to 2.6

http://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/2636564

Rather cloudy with scattered rain, sleet and snow showers, some briefly heavy. The rain and sleet is most likely across Norfolk and Suffolk, with snow more likely further inland. Feeling cold in a brisk north-northwesterly wind.

Well February is normally our coldest month when our surrounding seas have lost most of their summer warmth - that's what it said on TV anyway

Wrap up and for our true southerners slap on the cream!

Still no snow here and just as sunny as Phil. Only thing missing are the additional 22 degrees C of heat...that's all.

-3 when I left home for London this morning. Not far from home now so will see when I get back whether it's warmed up during the day...

It was 26 here when I read the above. Unfortunately, that was 26 F, or -3 C. Now it's down to -6C with -11C forecast for tonight.:)

Oh, and our first measurable snow since November--only an inch,:)

-2°C here this morning, but with a strong N wind so wind chill equivalent to -8. Snow forecasted for later today and temperatures down to -6°C by tomorrow. Forecast says it will stay below 0 night and day from now until sunday noon when it might make +2. That's a big problem for keeping water available for the poultry, it means going out with hot water two or three times per day and after while you run out of buckets etc - all full of blocks of ice !

When it gets below freezing I put some water inside the chicken coop as well as in the normal place inside the run. With 4 birds and the door closed it must be a few degrees warmer.
