Am I the only one having trouble opening Mike's images?

Is the imgur server having trouble?

I'm getting -

Safari can’t open the page “https://i.imgur.com/dEb3WwF.jpg” because Safari can’t establish a secure connection to the server “i.imgur.com

I've just had safari open that link ok here so I suspect there might be some sort of dns or other routing error from your part of the Wild West into
Internetland.

Try turning off the wifi on the phone. That will connect you to the internet via different route and dns look up server.

Either that of just accept you have been singled out for persecution

Your ISP has a problem methinks, going via mobile data will have bypassed them.

Maybe you two can compare notes on your isp and platforms to try and get to the bottom this. Clearly your browsers are ok if they can connect to Imgur over 3/4G
Maybe try at a friends house using their wifi and see how you get on.
You could also change the dns server that your router connects to and say try the one that Google runs ( search for Google dns server addresses to find it).
If all else fails then armed with some detail you should be able to approach the help desk for your ISP or at each they have a forum where you can post the details of your problem.
Good luck

Have you both done the obvious ie clear cache, history, update browser, switch browser off and on, reboot router, power down computer etc etc.

My ISP is Vodafone Home Broadband.

Just been chatting online to a nice young man, or it could have been a nice young lady, I couldn't tell from their name, anyway, I was advised to change the primary DNS settings to 8888 and the secondary to 8844 and it seems to have worked.

I don't know what that means, but that was the Vodafone workaround.

8.8.8.8 is Google’s dns server, which means that Vodafone effectively don’t know what the issue is with theirs, can’t be ar$ed looking and just got you to use that.

Either way you’re back!

I'm also missing Bob's spray-can gif as well now, so it looks like VF is banning photobucket, too..

So am I but I'm not with Vodafone. Think it's a separate issue.

That will be the same issue as before where photobucket have cottoned on to the free use I would imagine.

Dunno...I copied the link from Bob's avatar, bunged it in the browser. Came up OK. Righthand side is a list of Photo Hosting links. I chose this one and bingo...works OK
