Shopmade Cam Clamps

A quickie sketch. I was cleaning in my shop and came across a plan for these cam clamps. I decided to make a quick SketchUp model and then recycle the paper plan. I made extensive use of the Trim and Keep plugin which made drawing this very fast.

Very nice Dave, I know these as Luther's clamps.

Luthier's clamps perhaps?
Not sure why they should be specific to luthiers - before metal F clamps they surely would have had lots of applications in light woodwork.

Bob, if I could spell and type I would be dangerous, the auto correct on android does not all ways help.

:lol: Those spill chuckers can sometimes do more harm than good. The one built in to my PC does not like "luthier" either but I don't let it auto correct.

I'm guessing that somewhere there was a luthier named Luther who had some clamps like these. :D
