A couple of modifications from the originals. Both were quite fast to make

This is a king-sized version of Kevin Rodel's Arts & Crafts Bed from the current issue of Fine Woodworking. I made the king-sized version after someone asked about how to enlarge the queen version.

This is a "two-holer" Adirondack chair which started as a normal chair. I did the double front leg for the symmetry but it occurred to me that it would be easy to make that a single leg. I just haven't had time to modify the model for that. This was also drawn for a guy who was looking for this sort of thing. I believe if I were building it, I would change the back into continuous run of slats. Maybe it depends upon who you have to sit next to. :)

I agree on changing the back - make it look more like a bench than just 2 chairs screwed together FWIW

Lovely Dave. Now if you can just do it in a Greene & Greene style then you will save me a huge amount of thinking… ;)

Looks much better
I've never sat on an Adirondack chair, they must be comfortable going by the number made but they always seem awkward to get out of.

Rod, they are the sort of chair that once you get in, you want to stay in. The wide flat armrests are perfect if you have someone to bring you food and drink so you don't have to leave.

I'm going against the grain here. I think the first one was better but neither seem quite right.

I searched google for Adirondack twin and found this which i think is the best mix -

Robert, that one would be my choice, too. The guy I did these for said he wanted a single back rather than the separated ones as in my first version. I would have added that triangle in the first one if he'd wanted to go that way. I guess he prefers cars with a bench front seat over bucket seats. :D

Evidently even after showing him how he could modify the existing chair plan he has, he still wants a full-blown plan.

Seeing a completed bench like this, it does look good.
The teak makes big impact, maybe other timbers might not look that good?

A jeweler's bench based on one from about 1900. I drew this to use for an upcoming tutorial on drawing stopped chamfers.

A couple more.

An English Arts & Crafts table based on one dated to 1890. I made some brown oak textures for this one. That seemed appropriate.

A Mid-Century Modern piece designed by Edward Wormley and made about 1950.

That table is very nice, but I don't like the sideboard, but you drawing is as always is excellent.

Here are a couple of quickies.
Image
A box for the kitchen counter to hold packets of microwave popcorn. Drawn for a guy who wants to make them and sell them at craft shows. Plans were the next step but he bailed when he found out I wanted to get paid for the work. He expected them for free so he could sell the boxes he'd make from them.

Image
First draft of a whimscial bookcase for a guy whose niece wants him to build it. Plans are in the works.

The tables are appealing. 8-)

The sideboard ............... not my taste.

The popcorn boxes - I made something similar to keep the bottle of coffee in for friends on their kitchen counter.

I guess it's good there are different tastes in furniture design. Makes it possible to have more furniture designers.

Awhile back I shared an image of some planters for an Eagle Scout project. This is the final design chosen by the client.

The planters were installed today and look like this:
