I was having problems setting up with sloppy rotating blade side discs. Turned up some some lignum vitae dowels to fit. Works a treat in resaw and veneer mode.

A very nice man had already replacd the guide blocks on my BS with LV. Works a treat.
If anyone needs some small pieces of LV I have quite a lot and would be happy to share.
I do not think therefore I do not am.

I've found bits of beech work perfectly well. In fact, end grain, i reckon almost any hardwood would do the trick.
