Welcome along J.

We are getting quite a collection of building projects and even considering a section devoted to them.

Feel free to ask any questions you might have, we have some very helpful and knowledgeable people here and the rest of us make it up

When you get a moment, maybe edit your profile to show your Christian name and approximate location (town or first half of postcode) so that others can maybe offer you direct help or show examples of what they are up to.

Welcome JJ. Hope you enjoy your stay.

Have you got a sketch of what you're proposing to build? (There is a moderation thingy to stop bots posting, which goes away after 3 posts, so you won't be able to post an image until then).

And a warm welcome from me as well.

You're not the old Jenks from UKW by any chance ?

Thankyou , my first post originally said how I had been building as perMike G's description. Have nearly finished the exterior cladding. Will start a build thread and I'm sure will have many questions still to ask. JJ
