What you have drawn would work if F/E, when nailed in place, added up to 25mm thickness, but it doesn't. You'll find the thickness around 30 to 32mm. Further, your corner detail would need a batten directly behind it as the side that is fixed to the frame is only "on" by 25mm, thus making the corner rather flexible.
