Avoid buying any Milwaukee tools with a chuck

Here's the place to talk about all your table saws, bandsaws, routers and dust extractors. In fact anything that makes noise and uses electrickery.

Avoid buying any Milwaukee tools with a chuck

Because when it fails, after a few months light use, they will refuse to replace it stating that ALL their units with chucks only have a 90 day warranty on the chuck.

Pass it on.

Are they allowed to say that ? Being a major part of the drill, not a consumable.

chargeback ?

If it fails after a few months then I am sure you can argue that it is not fit for purpose.

Hi all , new here, been lurking in the background for a bit.

Saw this thread and it stired me up a little

I have one of those special 18v red drills, I thought mine had a special feature where a 10mm drill made a 12mm hole.......
It fell over so many times on the bench damaging stuff....
I have found an excellent use for it ! If someone wants to borrow one of my black and green drills they get palmed of with the red thing.

Huh. I've been using my Milwaukees for years with no issues. I got the second one no more than 4 years ago. Maybe they've done some "value engineering" since then.
