Hello folks
As I am posting here asking for help I thought I would be polite and introduce myself. My name is Simon and I live on the South Coast of England. Been working as a carpenter for the last 30 years and I am still learning.

I enjoy working wood by hand when I get the chance as opposed to using machines. I have a small workshop kitted out with the usual machinery mostly sedgwick stuff.

And a welcome from me too. Not sure how usual sedgwick machinery is in most workshops around here but we wont hold that against you :)
I do not think therefore I do not am.

cheers

A warm welcome from me as well, Simon. Ex Sedgwick planer/thicknesser man...but only because the power supply where I now live wasn't man enough to run it :(

Welcome to the asylum Simon - you don't have to be eccentric to post here but most of us are in our own ways

Hopefully I have answered your first question and you can get the morticer up and running again soon.
