Experimental Paint job

Postby Dalboy » 01 Jul 2018, 20:23

Another experiment that went wrong but the wife liked it so I completed it. As you can see the paint shrank back leaving what appears to be cracks. Somehow the more I look at it the more I like it. It is 10 1/2" X 2" and I believe it is lime

C & C welcome

The effect is very clever as I have come to expect. It looks gorgeous but I cannot see the cracking to which you refer.
I do not think therefore I do not am.

cheers

Thank you Andy.

Stretch marks more like where the medium has dried and caused the lightning looking effect

And there was me wondering how you managed to get the lightening looking so good!

Like that one Derek :eusa-clap:

Seems a nice balance between wood and paint.
