No, that doesn’t work with Safari either.

No, that doesn’t work with Safari either.
Edit: if I click and hold on the link and wait for the pop up menu to appear and then choose “open in Google Maps” it opens ok.
Edit 2: Just tried this with the Timber merchants link and “open in Google Maps” is not an option as it is in the members link.

Those menus don’t appear under Safari on my iPad.
On my iPad Pro running iOS 12.1.4 it’s Safari - Advaced - JavaScript, and yes it’s on.
Woodster wrote:I think this may be because I have the Google Maps app installed on my iPad. The link simply opens the app without any custom points. If you don’t have the app installed then it looks like it opens a Google Maps page within Safari.
Luckily you only need to use the link once if you have the app as Google Maps seems to save custom maps which is handy.

Woodster wrote:Hi Bob, yes it’s there! Note that this is in the Google Maps app as I mentioned. Not a page in a Browser.
This is a very handy feature in Google Maps as it seems to remember any custom maps that you’ve visited. I now have five custom maps in the app on my iPad.

Note they only sell hardwood and don't offer any machining to size.
