If you mean to remove the foot then yes I did.
When I cut the tenon to turn the inside I made a small dimple in the centre of the tenon this helped later
I fitted a piece of wood in the chuck and shaped it to match the inside of the bowl. I use a piece of router mat between the wood and the bowl to protect the piece.
I put a revolving centre in the tailstock and brought this up and placed it in the dimple I mentioned, Then turned as much of the tenon away and sanded removed from lathe to finish the small amount left from holding it and sanded to blend in with the rest.
