I lost the use of an expensive bit of kit and software by not being savvy enough.
One thing you’ll find with 10 is that it keeps updating itself.
Windows Defender is worth activating.

Right from the start I told them not to send proprietary files like Word but it fell on deaf ears. Eventually after about a year or so and many more complaints they took my advice and only sent PDF files - problem solved. Many years ago I was lucky enough to be invited to a free Adobe Acrobat seminar held at Apple’s offices near Heathrow and I was amazed at some of the things that Acrobat can do. It’s such a shame it’s so expensive. Having used several different packages it’s surprising how different the final PDF document can be.
