Doorstops

This is actually quite embarrassing ...............

I cut the first one on the piece of timber, SA Pine, in October 2015 when I started up the Hegner.
http://www.thewoodhaven2.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=23&t=1468&p=17860&hilit=hegner#p17860

The board stayed on the machine and with the dust covers over, could not see it

So, while there is all the dust and mess cutting the Reindeer, a good opportunity to cut the other 3 doorstops.

There is a snail, cat & squirrel.
(the neighbour has already staked her claim on one of them)

I still gave to add eyes and then oil them (boiled linseed)

It only comes out in the summer when I want to prop the workshop door open. This time of year it could be anywhere

Finished!

For months I do nothing and then cram everything into a couple of days

I decided to seal them with a PU sanding sealer. A lot quicker than oiling.

3 Coats by small brush and a 800 grit sanding between coats.

The cat got some pink eyes and the squirrel green eyes.
