• Hi all and welcome to TheWoodHaven2 brought into the 21st Century, kicking and screaming! We all have Alasdair to thank for the vast bulk of the heavy lifting to get us here, no more so than me because he's taken away a huge burden of responsibility from my shoulders and brought us to this new shiny home, with all your previous content (hopefully) still intact! Please peruse and feed back. There is still plenty to do, like changing the colour scheme, adding the banner graphic, tweaking the odd setting here and there so I have added a new thread in the 'Technical Issues, Bugs and Feature Requests' forum for you to add any issues you find, any missing settings or just anything you'd like to see added/removed from the feature set that Xenforo offers. We will get to everything over the coming weeks so please be patient, but add anything at all to the thread I mention above and we promise to get to them over the next few days/weeks/months. In the meantime, please enjoy!

Just created a thread in Gen Woodworking. Insert images as usual but they are not displaying, there is just a hyperlink.
Is there a problem?

Andy, the site software generally is playing up. The page formatting is staccato and VERY slow, speed of typing way down, images disappearing, "Houston? We got a bug!"

It was normal for me just now, and on this post.

Ah, now I see what you mean Andy. Responsiveness is fine, but this is what I see looking at your thread. Screenshot_20250618-132126.png

(Attaching that screenshot was ok.)

Andy, did you get the usual Insert full/ thumbnail button appear on each image?
Clicking on your hyperlinks does bring up the images, so maybe you've just found an unfamiliar option?

everything created as per usual.

Well something happened and it's righted itself for Andy T and I not to see them and for them to reappear. Lets just blame Gremlins.

Sam having the same issues again today, and I'm seeing everything being slow to refresh.

I just clicked on 'New Posts' and it gave the an 'unexpected database error', so i clicked back up, refreshed and clicked again and it took a good 20 seconds of doing nothing before bringing up the latest posts list. Definitely something not quite as it should be, given multiple people in different geographies all seeing similar issues. Odd.

Test with some high flyers

Forum upload behaved as expected.
