I joined The Woodhaven about a week ago. Previously I was a contributor to UKW (john15) until about 9 months ago.
I am a hobbyist woodworker, working mainly with handtools in a small workshop and make pieces of furniture for myself to a reasonable(?) standard.
I am looking forward to contributing here on Woodhaven.

Welcome.

Don't take too much notice of the hand toolery. Some of these chaps use bandsaws, scroll saws, planer thicknessers, power drills, mitre saws or the overhead equivalent, and even circular saws in the pursuit of wood mangling 8-)

Look forward to seeing your work.

Kind regards, Adrian

Many thanks for the welcome everyone. I remember some of you.
I'm currently still making the chest of drawers that I started well over a year ago. Some ill health put me back for about 6 months but I'm back in the shed now. I'll post a couple of photos of progress once I've got enough posts.

Indeed and welcome. I’m one of those aforementioned chaps that indulge in both hand tools and these new fangled machinery thingies in the pursuit of wood mangling - Rob
