New boy

Postby Hawkeyefxr » 07 Feb 2022, 15:04

Been doing woody stuff for about 20 years (made a lot of sawdust!) Have a small shed 12ft*8ft table saw, sliding chop saw, Lathe, routers *3, sanders mortiser and not a lot of room and a big dust extract :D .
Made our bed, American cherry, Oak dining table and coffee table.
My first project was fitted wardrobes with lust a hand saw, hand screwdriver and and measuring tap. Not outstanding but it works for us.
Made Pens as well.
Just bought a Vac pump but not used it yet, shed to cold.
And a pensioner of a few years, so i may well ask stupid questions :D

Welcome Indeed.
I believe you might be another Hampshire member?

I can't help but be curious about your user name only because I used to work for the company that invented the Hawkeye technology used in TV sports presentations and wondered if you were connected to it in anyway?

True and probably more likely. It just as I was very close to Hawkeye at work, so that's what struck me first.
