Wood movement

I thought this document provided a useful summary of how wood is affected by moisture:

https://www.extension.purdue.edu/extmed ... nr-163.pdf

I wonder if anyone has links to similar documents, perhaps historical, that relate to furniture design that accounts for moisture-related movement?

If you want a little 'light' :eusa-whistle: bed time reading on this topic, I suggest you purchase a copy of 'Cut and Dried' by Richard Jones (Slainte) of this parish. I have a copy and it's rather good - Rob
