Combination square ruler

A friend has given me all the bits from a quite decent combination square that was her dad’s.
It’s just lacking the ruler.

Anyone know where one can be purchased?

Starrett do replacement blades - bit spendy though - £68 on their uk website.

I wanted another blade a while ago just to use the centre finder from starret set. After seeing the above, I ended up using one from an old stanley square that was falling apart. Blade was ok and it now resides permanently in the centre finder.

Axminster do a few rules that should fit.
I bought one from their outlet on eBay, it's a second as some of the numbers are wrong but it was cheap.

I picked up a angle head up without a rule and the best fit for it is a Bacho rule, I bought a 400mm square one from eBay for peanuts.

I bought one of those too! A 600mm version for when I need a bit more reach. There is one number on it which is wrong. I wonder if it will catch me out one day...

I’m intrigued to know how one of the numbers is wrong, does it have two sevens or something? Most strange and yes I can guarantee it will catch you out one day ha ha.

Reminds me of a joke rule an apprentice bought into work a while back - made of rubber so you could stretch it to the dimension you needed. :D :D
Two thirds of people don't have a clue about fractions - and the other half aren't much better.
Good decisions are based on experience. Unfortunately experience is built on bad decisions.

Completely off-the-wall association question: Who remembers Joe90?
A pragmatist inside a perpetual optimist, heavily influenced by an experienced cynic, wrapped around by an aging relic.

As a 4 eyes at school Joe90 was one of the nicer nicknames I endured. Him in the spinning bird cage.
What's this got to do with rulers?
I do not think therefore I do not am.
