I bought a trend router 2 years ago, it came with about a dozen bits. One of those snapped a while back when it really should not have.
Today I used the round over bit for the very first time. It did not survive the experience;

The amazing thing is, I wasnt using the bearing :shock: I was rounding off a very large table top on the router table. It was so big I could not keep it to the bearing, so I lined the fence to the bearing with a straight edge and pushed the table down the fence.
Good job I did, or I would have lost a 100 quid wood top if that bearing had given way and the bit had dug into the wood.
These Trend bits are worse than silverline, and I didnt ever think I would say something was better than silverline. :eusa-doh:
