That's not bad. However, without seeming to top it,your post just reminded me... My Mrs's cousin (and all her neighbours) have each been gifted about 20 metres in length to the backs of their gardens that back onto the rail lines by the operator. They laid new fences behind the old ones and about a year later somewhat fuzzy letters went out passing on the land. Seems the maintenance costs outweighed the benefits for the train network? Wonder how much the entire parcel of land was worth?!?
