Thanks Steve, it looks terrifying to turn with all those edges like that. The finished piece I like but could a little more care have been taken with the finish?

I would certainly be standing way to the side trying to do that.

I suppose if you had a band saw you could round it off a bit.

Projects like this are just great fun but should be not attempted unless they feel confident.

I do turn things like this as well as those that have pieces missing.
