I actually have a bit of a phobia about taking tablets, I am convinced they all get stuck in my throat and have to eat bread and milk after taking any to make sure they go down. When I was having to take my chemo pils last year it took 45 minutes a 2 pints of milk and 4 slices of toast

droogs wrote:Our GP is really good. When I first spoke to him on the phone about it, he was soo concerned about how i was breathing due to the pain, he was round the flat in 10 minutes. He has tried several cocktails of meds to get it sorted and afterthe first 5 days it seemed like it was. Then it just ballooned in a way I could not have imagined (literally), He felt that it may be infected in the joint and given the swelling and pain he put me on to morphine and double strength antibiotics. He's been round the house every couple of days and in between has the missus phone in how i am. So I think he's done well and I am just unlucky. ~Also I think the fact that I am still recovering from the chemo, hemochromatosis and sclirosis of the liver due to the hct is a big factor
