The divorce settlement was hampered by the custody battle over Phil.

I got my 3rd jab on tuesday. They gave me Pfizzer as i had AZ the 1 and 2. Apparently meant to give you better protection if mixed on the 3rd. Bloody hell I just had the shakiest and sweatiest 36 hours that I can remember. I am still aching though the sweats stopped this morning. Nice to know im in the top 98th percentile for something, even if it is for a bad reaction to a jab lol

Good for you Malc. Having had shingles I can assure you that the odd side effect would be worth it. I certainly won’t hesitate when I qualify.

And The Great British Cock-up continues for those poor sods who had Moderna as part of the trial.

Nothing said as yet about those other 'disadvantaged'...those who had Novavax. Luckily, for better or worse, I'm bog-standard AZ.

If you received the Oxford AstraZeneca followed by the Moderna vaccines, then the third vaccine you receive may have implications for travel passports, please inform us of a time you are available by email on the following dates for a telephone consultation to discuss you options –

I can't get the nhs website to book either SWMBO or I for the covid booster despite age 68 & 67.
I'm guessing that the block is that our 6month anniversaries of Jab2 is not until November.

Although according to someone ranting on the TV earlier, you can't use the free issue tests for arrivals but have to use very similar but paid for testers at £25 a go.

The free issue lateral flow tests are too easy to abuse though. We got a pack of 7 as a requirement for going to our sons graduation do. We did those tests properly of course but registered some other negative results online without actually taking the test. The system is too easy to abuse.

I presume that the £25 goes towards making sure you actually take the test.

I got both an email and an SMS from Amicus and was able to book at my local centre. But the message recognises the 6 month anniversary.

What a right c**k up!

I truly feel for those poor sods who got Novavax and have no sympathy for the BePartofResearch and ScrewYourLifeUp brigade. They continue to bluster and make empty platitudes.

This is a real Gotcha at the moment. I see that Sanofi are looking for trial volunteers to have their vaccine as a booster. That means that until they sort out the IT, looks like your NHS Covid App will show that your last vaccine was an, as yet, unapproved vaccine. Good luck with that one trying to get into events, travel abroad etc. They don't mention any of this on their website. Makes a mockery of 'Informed Consent'.

AFAIK, the NHS website won't let you book before 6 months has elapsed since jab no 2

That is going to be mid November for me.

Had my booster last week.
Flu jab on Thursday.
I had not realised that the over 65s have a different flu formulation to younger people.
Her majesty had her flu jab yesterday, but they could not do me as the over 65 type wasn’t available.

The older generation get the 4G version as they are less likely to own 5G phones.
