Oh dear ....

Hang up your Chisels and Plane blades and take a load off with a recently turned goblet of your favourite poison, in the lounge of our Gentlemen's (and ladies) Club.

Oh dear ....

To be fair, it was starting to go and I knew its life was limited. Just hoped it could hold until Spring. Probably looking at a grandsworth of my dry-stone wallers :( We found a rogue root from a nearby large buxus had threaded its way through the wall.

I'll take the opportunity to run a spare soil pipe vertically down on the garden side and come out via a duct at the bottom as we did get water pooling up there.

A Summer's view from the opposite side.

That is a very deep retaining wall. Was it originally a ha ha?
Don't like: wood, engines, electrickery, decorating, tiling, laying stone, plumbing, gardening or any kind of DIY. Not wild about spiders either.

No. Just the way that they made walls around these parts in the 1750's. Still do if you get a good waller.
