Hang up your Chisels and Plane blades and take a load off with a recently turned goblet of your favourite poison, in the lounge of our Gentlemen's (and ladies) Club.

Hmmmm same, got it in 4 but honestly not sure whether I would have gone down that route if I hadn’t seen this thread. :(

Roger's comment, which was rather more on the nose, might have guided me too. However I take the precaution of not reading this thread until after I've done the puzzle. A habit worth adopting, maybe?

My wife sent them an e-mail complaining that they have a .co.uk website but used US spelling!

Very frustrating today, first word, 2 in the right place, I’d almost given up today’s but came on here to see how others had faired, that helped a lot!!

I was hoping that today was the day that I would complete the set and get it in 1. No chance when the answer has a spelling mistake in it though! Got it in 6.

I got a couple of good words, but I also had a bit of a double-take at the answer. Looking online, we're not the only ones that are a bit peeved at the answer being an American one

Kim Jong-Un took up Wordle, he scored 38 consecutive one-worders in a day and decided to retire from it boasting that it was too easy for him.

4 for me today, but I also really struggled with it. I had the first and fourth letters in the correct places on line 3 but just couldn’t see the word at all, then I realised why…

I got the first and last two positions on row 3, but I could see two possibilities for positions 2 & 3. I guessed wrong first time so got it in five.
