Kefir

Anyone else drinking it? I started drinking Kefir first thing in the morning several months back and I really like the stuff. I bought some grains to make my own but it’s not as nice as the supermarket stuff so I’ve given up for the time being.

I tried it as a probiotic and liked the taste, but it's mostly fermented from dairy milk and it just doesn't agree with me unfortunately.
Don't like: wood, engines, electrickery, decorating, tiling, laying stone, plumbing, gardening or any kind of DIY. Not wild about spiders either.

It wouldn’t be the same for me but you can buy other types like Coconut Kefir.

Our son in law uses it on his breakfast cereals. A brief sip led me to the assumption that it was just a thin yoghurt. Is it not?

It’s supposed to be much better for you.

We make our own Yoghurt but I much prefer Kefir.

On a shopping trip the other day I noticed they had Polish Kefir in the shop. It’s just as nice and is £1.00 cheaper a litre than the other stuff I’ve been drinking?!
