how, and why.

Please list any and all bugs, feature requests etc in here and we can pick them up from one place. Only one bug/request per thread please, and make the title relevant so they are easy to pick out.

How..... do i get a picture small enough to use as an avatar? The smallest I have appears to be 10 times too big?

Why.... after a 100 or so posts, have my notification emails suddenly all gone into my junk file? And even though I click on every one and mark it as NOT junk, the next lot go there as well.

Ta 8-) .

question 1.
you need to dry the picture out in the baking sun with a mix of natural chemicals. I suggest talking with your local shaman for advice.

question 2. because your email provider is a bugger.

real answers
q1. stick it in MS paint and make it 10% of original. it should be pretty close to the allowance.

q2. see above. :)

Ha! found one from an old forum that I had almost forgotten about.

I know hotmail is bad, but its free, and at this time of my life thats a very important selling point.

I even went into the settings and told it to accept this sites emails, it still doesnt like it.

I have had problems with Mail on the Mac randomly putting some senders in Junk. I have tried everything, I think, and the solution that seemed to work was to add a Rule to incoming mails.
I do not think therefore I do not am.

Interesting as I never get spam. It's filtered out by my ISP.

You could try spamsieve, Andy. It's an add-on to Mail and very good.

One of the issues I have, my FIL, is that it depends which device he sends a mail from  he uses the same email address but from his phone it went into junk, from his mac no problem.

I know that there are lists out there (Spamhaus springs to mind) which lists IP addresses of 'known' SPAM servers. If an IP address gets accidentally put on one of those then it can get bounced back to the sender. But that doesn't sound like that is what's happening. There's a heck of a lot of things going on under-the-hood these days. ....pace my post re my calendar being automatically populated by flight details on the right day from BA.

I've now given up with iCloud and Photo as I no longer have any confidence as to which 'entity'...any of my Macs or iCloud ...is actually the 'master' and determines the definitive set of photos.
