Email alerts

Please list any and all bugs, feature requests etc in here and we can pick them up from one place. Only one bug/request per thread please, and make the title relevant so they are easy to pick out.

Email alerts

Why is the titling of email alerts variable ?

I can get an email alert ...titled The Woodmangler's Retreat..about, say the Zoro thread

but then get other email notifications titled "Zoro UK" ..but still referring to the Zoro thread.

No biggie...just curious

Hmmmm, don't know. I imagine it's to do with whether you've selected to be notified about a particular forum at some point. Not sure how though. I know using Tapatalk you get asked if you want to be alerted to certain specific fora, and you automatically get alerted to topics you've participated in, could be related to that...

Also there are two versions of the reply notification.
One give the username of the respondent and the other is anonymous.
This has been the case for as long as I can remember

Again no biggie

I'm guessing one is maybe a Global setting and the other a Personal setting/subscription perhaps.
