• Hi all and welcome to TheWoodHaven2 brought into the 21st Century, kicking and screaming! We all have Alasdair to thank for the vast bulk of the heavy lifting to get us here, no more so than me because he's taken away a huge burden of responsibility from my shoulders and brought us to this new shiny home, with all your previous content (hopefully) still intact! Please peruse and feed back. There is still plenty to do, like changing the colour scheme, adding the banner graphic, tweaking the odd setting here and there so I have added a new thread in the 'Technical Issues, Bugs and Feature Requests' forum for you to add any issues you find, any missing settings or just anything you'd like to see added/removed from the feature set that Xenforo offers. We will get to everything over the coming weeks so please be patient, but add anything at all to the thread I mention above and we promise to get to them over the next few days/weeks/months. In the meantime, please enjoy!

Hi, I live in Queensland Australia and have been a Builder for over 50 years.
I have just discovered a hard back copy of the book
New Guide to Carpentry, General Framing and Joinery, that was owned by my Grandfather.
This book is in geed condition and an excellent read.
I found this site by reading up on this Author. R. Scott Burn.
Hi . I just saw your post about sash windows. I am near Corby, so not a million miles from Peterborough. I regularly make box sash windows, so I may be able to help.
Cheers, Richard

Thank you for the reply. I'm going to have a chat with the man next week sometime to see just what it is he thinks he wants now. The original spec was just make replacement sashes and he will fit etc, which was ok, but not sure now as I spoke to him b4 christmas and sounds like some of the boxes might be too far gone, until I have chatted with him I don't know what he wants to do now. Will be in touch.

I had a chat with the chap, I said I could still only do sashes not fit or do complete windows etc. and he said he was good with that. I explained I was limited to what I could reasonabully do at this time. It looks like I won't be able to pass this job on I'm afraid, at least not right now. Mark
If you are interested I could e-mail you all the dietician stuff that she gave me?
Not just kidney related but also for general health "at our age" :D
Nothing received so far Roger. And I have checked my spam folder too! It's an odd email address so maybe check that you've copied it right? How big was the file attachment? I've checked and there was no typo in my submission.
Cheers, Roger
