• Hi all and welcome to TheWoodHaven2 brought into the 21st Century, kicking and screaming! We all have Alasdair to thank for the vast bulk of the heavy lifting to get us here, no more so than me because he's taken away a huge burden of responsibility from my shoulders and brought us to this new shiny home, with all your previous content (hopefully) still intact! Please peruse and feed back. There is still plenty to do, like changing the colour scheme, adding the banner graphic, tweaking the odd setting here and there so I have added a new thread in the 'Technical Issues, Bugs and Feature Requests' forum for you to add any issues you find, any missing settings or just anything you'd like to see added/removed from the feature set that Xenforo offers. We will get to everything over the coming weeks so please be patient, but add anything at all to the thread I mention above and we promise to get to them over the next few days/weeks/months. In the meantime, please enjoy!

Nice, also was popular here, now weapons need to be stored locked into a gun cabinet.

Other than from my wife I have only heard it once before. 35 to 40 years ago, can't remember the year I ran a landscape company in Toronto, mainly the elite type. Had a wealthy WASP client request that I visit at 7pm. Get there and the butler announces me, yes this is true. Lady of the house...

Big bonus with the free material. Do people put items out at the curb for free or is it not allowed. I have picked up many a thing which has been useful.

    Well this is comical.

Put the laundry on the line before heading to à lake to get a dock into the water. Wife called in a panic, heavy rain, hail and strong winds. Got home to this.

A question for dog owners …

Sounds like a good idea. On the flip side a buddy has warming mats outside of his side door in the winter and the dogs love it.

I will put them in a bag and mark the bag as to what it is and hopefully I won't forget where they are stored.

    Cutting a foam mattress.

Needed to size down a 5" foam mattress to fit the dogy bed. Started using a utility knife which was difficult. Then thought, why not use my serrated knife which I use for cutting roxul insulation. Worked a charm.

Bees like the Blue False Indigo.

About 20 years ago some of our goats ate Trout Lily which is poison to livestock, domestic animals and wildlife. Lets just say the barn was a vomitorium. And an expensive vet visit.

    Reclaimed bookcase

Untidy, no but I guess you know where everything is. Andy, have you bothered to mark ownership of all your tools or is it a monumental task?
