• Hi all and welcome to TheWoodHaven2 brought into the 21st Century, kicking and screaming! We all have Alasdair to thank for the vast bulk of the heavy lifting to get us here, no more so than me because he's taken away a huge burden of responsibility from my shoulders and brought us to this new shiny home, with all your previous content (hopefully) still intact! Please peruse and feed back. There is still plenty to do, like changing the colour scheme, adding the banner graphic, tweaking the odd setting here and there so I have added a new thread in the 'Technical Issues, Bugs and Feature Requests' forum for you to add any issues you find, any missing settings or just anything you'd like to see added/removed from the feature set that Xenforo offers. We will get to everything over the coming weeks so please be patient, but add anything at all to the thread I mention above and we promise to get to them over the next few days/weeks/months. In the meantime, please enjoy!

Sam, mine cost me just under £40 from Amazon - sale offer. The same Samsung Fit 3 from Argos, just ½ mile from me, was a tad under £60 - *exact same smart watch*. Viewed the cost (or lack of) as a trial option as a starter...

I'm also cynical Mike... and not surprised nothing found for this 'doctor' 😉. AI - little doubt but I can go with the *idea* it covers... One reason I said 'make your own mind up' - from the content mentioning BP in older folk. Years ago I got put on BP meds after some readings. If anything...

    Blood pressure

Hi Martin... mmm! My docs/BP nurses keep telling me I have hypertension... from the readings I collect over a week period and when they've checked me at the check up. I got myself a BP monitor... did daily checks morning (on getting up), mid day and evening... *speaking personally* - I don't...

Geberit Type 240 and Type 340 mechanisms

Trying to copy/paste pastes as gibberish... probably best to search for "Geberit Type 240 and Type 340 valves" to get the listed information/bold text... Apologies Roger... you may already have seen this - and other - vids on YouTube but wondered if this would help? Funnily enough this video...

Geberit Type 240 and Type 340 mechanisms

Roger... I did a Google search and got some 'guides' but it ended with this (before I copy/paste the rest): "For detailed manufacturer installation notes and documentation, consult the Geberit Installation Notes. For step-by-step guidance on changing out these specific parts, refer to the...

    Newbie

Welcome... enjoy easing yourself into retirement... mine was an *on the spot* decision around 9 years ago. As no one so far has mentioned it ( apologies to @AndyP )... they like photos - lots of - here in the Forum 😉. So, there's a need to plan your photo recordings for what you go about doing...

Very well done our local NHS

😂... I guess so in some ways... 😂. I drew the line though at a 'suggested' op for my hiatus hernia... on seeing the surgeon his description of what he'd do wasn't what I'd read in respect of 'keyhole surgery' - the way he eyed my stomach area as 'virginity ground' for his scalpel 😂 Great catch...

    What I have fixed today

I'm coming round to your way of thinking Rob... they are time consuming... Weeding and wiring aside, it's trying to do the repotting of those that need it - against the pressure of weather during those times, pinching back to get smaller leaves and ramification... trimming back - pressures of...

    What I have fixed today

Yes Scott ☺️. I was lucky to win it in an online bonsai raffle about 5 years ago - along with a Japanese Deshojo maple. The Ginko biloba is around 38" (inc. pot) - or 34" from pot surface. Sorry for the glare, bottom left in the photo... the sun is directly in line with it...

Very well done our local NHS

I get where you're coming from Bob - gratefully received 😊. I've been through a few 'joint' operations in the past with the left wrist TFCC repair, two trapeziectomy - left and right thumbs and, most recently (last year) a left hand first finger fusion operation... cartlidge removed and joint...

Very well done our local NHS

Sorry to hear about your knees troubles Bob... but it's good to see you're getting attention from your local NHS teams. I've had pains in mine for quite some time and has been gradually getting difficult at times but especially if I've crouched down... the difficulty (and painful bit) being...

    What I have fixed today

On the 7th May I retrieved a large Bonsai pot from the local recycling centre. Checking it over showed a crack running down in one corner and then splitting across two sides lower down. After a good clean to remove the old grime I used some 'super glue' into the cracks and left until this...
