• Hi all and welcome to TheWoodHaven2 brought into the 21st Century, kicking and screaming! We all have Alasdair to thank for the vast bulk of the heavy lifting to get us here, no more so than me because he's taken away a huge burden of responsibility from my shoulders and brought us to this new shiny home, with all your previous content (hopefully) still intact! Please peruse and feed back. There is still plenty to do, like changing the colour scheme, adding the banner graphic, tweaking the odd setting here and there so I have added a new thread in the 'Technical Issues, Bugs and Feature Requests' forum for you to add any issues you find, any missing settings or just anything you'd like to see added/removed from the feature set that Xenforo offers. We will get to everything over the coming weeks so please be patient, but add anything at all to the thread I mention above and we promise to get to them over the next few days/weeks/months. In the meantime, please enjoy!

Daughters Kitchen final stages Handles and floor now done.

My Daughter ordered the sink using my Howdens account (UK), lots of variations available but in this case due to the double bin underneath the sink she had to have a single sink (A double bin would have clashed under a double sink). She has looked on the Net and there are lots of accessories...

    How would you make this?

You could try free hand with a small angle grinder with coarse sanding discs then hand sand after.

    Fixing conundrum

You could tenon the handle through the sides of the walnut side rails also put a groove in the walnut side rails and glue the side rails onto the veneered bottom. I made some trays that way several years ago when I lived at home and they worked out ok. When you think may old chairs had very...

Thank you The splashback is clear glass which I fit then took down as the back wall is being painting behind it. It was originally going to be a handle less kitchen but when I floated that idea on here it was suggested it was not the best approach so handles were fit. The ceilings are about...

Just a few more pictures of the opposite side of the kitchen: A corner understair cupboard which my daughter wanted to blend in with the kitchen, it has white solvent free gripfix applied to the walls which then had panels applied. Both the walls and back of the panels had wood pva applied to...
