• Hi all and welcome to TheWoodHaven2 brought into the 21st Century, kicking and screaming! We all have Alasdair to thank for the vast bulk of the heavy lifting to get us here, no more so than me because he's taken away a huge burden of responsibility from my shoulders and brought us to this new shiny home, with all your previous content (hopefully) still intact! Please peruse and feed back. There is still plenty to do, like changing the colour scheme, adding the banner graphic, tweaking the odd setting here and there so I have added a new thread in the 'Technical Issues, Bugs and Feature Requests' forum for you to add any issues you find, any missing settings or just anything you'd like to see added/removed from the feature set that Xenforo offers. We will get to everything over the coming weeks so please be patient, but add anything at all to the thread I mention above and we promise to get to them over the next few days/weeks/months. In the meantime, please enjoy!

Mike builds a teardrop (tongue box and conduit)

Can you not have it sealed to the inside but have a external fill point? Maybe out of 22mm push fit so you can get a hose down it?

Ian’s new workshop. The Wonky Donkey. Ceiling joists started

I'm about to floor my workshop after I put the steel roof on it. I was going to use 22mm chipboard over 2" polystyrene. With only a 2x2 each side to hold it together whilst the glue drys do I need the frame work as above?! Will do a thread sometime.

Mike builds a teardrop (tongue box and conduit)

I would use a reputable plywood manufacturer. Wisa or Brunzneal comes to mind. I got hold of some softwood wisa ply and build a sand pit. Just painted it lasted 10yrs!

    Building your own kitchen cabinets?

Great thread! I like the contrast of the painted doors and the oak doors. Also the spice drawer and the mixer stand! Sone ideas might work on my much smaller kitchen others might not!

    Building your own kitchen cabinets?

I haven't yet.. I'd gone off the idea... Then my car died so that needs replacing first.... But that wipes out the kitchen fund, so maybeaking one is back on the cards. Also my workshop roof isn't on so I cain't get a floor down either. Then I reclaim my tools and let work begin! Wil read...
