• Hi all and welcome to TheWoodHaven2 brought into the 21st Century, kicking and screaming! We all have Alasdair to thank for the vast bulk of the heavy lifting to get us here, no more so than me because he's taken away a huge burden of responsibility from my shoulders and brought us to this new shiny home, with all your previous content (hopefully) still intact! Please peruse and feed back. There is still plenty to do, like changing the colour scheme, adding the banner graphic, tweaking the odd setting here and there so I have added a new thread in the 'Technical Issues, Bugs and Feature Requests' forum for you to add any issues you find, any missing settings or just anything you'd like to see added/removed from the feature set that Xenforo offers. We will get to everything over the coming weeks so please be patient, but add anything at all to the thread I mention above and we promise to get to them over the next few days/weeks/months. In the meantime, please enjoy!

That's a great picture. Skye our boy is 10 and his little sister, Staffa is 7 When we brought her home he was over the moon, thought she was great, looked after her let her eat some of his dinner. Now she bullies him on a regular basis. If anything is a problem it's Skyes fault and he gets...

    Ideas for replacing hinges.

Instead of match sticks, use bamboo. It's much stronger, chop sticks are a useful source of material. Either drill the hole to suit the stick or whittle down the stick to match the hole. A smear of glue and tap the stick in, trim with a flush cut saw.

We are very lucky to have John Coleman butchers near us. They have a van in Sudbury market which we buy all our meat from. Yesterday we had boar and apple sausages with homemade ratatouille very nice. They do a range of good sausages, old English, JC specials are one of my favourites.

Well, that day didn't go to plan.

I visited Mike this afternoon, he was hobbling on crutches, not looking that happy. I did offer to take a picture to post here, but he declined. The offending wire is still hanging from the roof of Mike's shop. I can sympathise with him, I remember back in 2011 when I broke my leg, the chaps I...

Well, that day didn't go to plan.

Well it's a good job you came over before you did that, you wouldn't have made it in to my shop with a cast, A video of the work will go up, once I have edited it down to a reasonable time. Take it steady and you probably need to keep that leg up.
