• Hi all and welcome to TheWoodHaven2 brought into the 21st Century, kicking and screaming! We all have Alasdair to thank for the vast bulk of the heavy lifting to get us here, no more so than me because he's taken away a huge burden of responsibility from my shoulders and brought us to this new shiny home, with all your previous content (hopefully) still intact! Please peruse and feed back. There is still plenty to do, like changing the colour scheme, adding the banner graphic, tweaking the odd setting here and there so I have added a new thread in the 'Technical Issues, Bugs and Feature Requests' forum for you to add any issues you find, any missing settings or just anything you'd like to see added/removed from the feature set that Xenforo offers. We will get to everything over the coming weeks so please be patient, but add anything at all to the thread I mention above and we promise to get to them over the next few days/weeks/months. In the meantime, please enjoy!

    Pto socket

I suppose i should put my hand up to helping Andy to control his dust collector. I set mine up using a relay to switch the motor, this was due to have a 3hp motor that would burn out the contacts in the remote control socket. A 3hp motor will sometimes run from a 13a socket but the start up...

I have another update for you. I went to see the physio on Thursday, he was very pleased with my progress, I only got into trouble for putting my own sock on the foot of the operated leg. He supplied a new ferule for one of my crutches, as I had worn it down with the walking about in the garden...

    The Well Builder

I did the same, had me glued to it. As a kid we lived on an unmade road and the water main stopped at the corner of our road, there was s stand pipe in a small locked box which you could pay to get a key. I do remember one old chap who had a key and cart with two metal cans on it. In the...

Well I am up, dressed, had a blood test and an x-ray. The physio started me with a Zimmer and quickly progressed to a pair of crutches. I have done the stairs and used the loo, with out assistants. This is not the one I have, it's the surgeons teaching aid.

I was offered a local, I turned it down as I am a wimp. I think the main reason for the offer was my full beard, difficult to get a good seal 🙄. I said I understood and had explain needing a face mask with a filtered air feed for turning 😃. I can't sleep as I have a massager unit attached to...

Well I am glad you are enjoying it. Skating, been once, only time I paid money to fall over and hurt myself 😭 My hip now stops me even thinking about doing something like that.
