• Hi all and welcome to TheWoodHaven2 brought into the 21st Century, kicking and screaming! We all have Alasdair to thank for the vast bulk of the heavy lifting to get us here, no more so than me because he's taken away a huge burden of responsibility from my shoulders and brought us to this new shiny home, with all your previous content (hopefully) still intact! Please peruse and feed back. There is still plenty to do, like changing the colour scheme, adding the banner graphic, tweaking the odd setting here and there so I have added a new thread in the 'Technical Issues, Bugs and Feature Requests' forum for you to add any issues you find, any missing settings or just anything you'd like to see added/removed from the feature set that Xenforo offers. We will get to everything over the coming weeks so please be patient, but add anything at all to the thread I mention above and we promise to get to them over the next few days/weeks/months. In the meantime, please enjoy!

Fitting a back-to-wall WC with an offset fitting.

They are push fit with a lip seal There is a reasonable tolerance for misalignment but it has limits. Ive had this job twice because of mismatched hight First time I decided to "do it properly" and removed the pipe and hacked out the hole in the wall to match the new pan. Then found the stack...

VFD to run 3-Phase on Single phase supply

As per Dr Al -check motor configuration first It can be magically simple - or not My experience of them is they need rating well above the intended device and the cheap ones are a gamble in the quality of the build (and also the documentation if you need more than simple on/off/speed)

    Mmm some treats for today.

We find the supermarket version of most things preferable to the brand name regardless of the lower cost. The surveys often come back with LidAldis own stuff beating the M&S fare. Bought some Cherry Utopia Magnums a while back Really looking forward.... Absolutely repulsive Consolation prize -...

Another shrinkflation trick is with the quantity You automatically go for a 10 pack because its better value than the five pack but unaware the individual biscuit size is of lower weight. Two of our local place names are Dicks Pitch and Balls Cross Quite close together they are.

I detest sport full stop I will watch WRC ghoulishly for crashes and breakdowns but thats it. As for football I cringe when they send a news reporter to a pub and interview " fans" ( the fairweather idiots who wouldnt normally be there) who then erupt into deliberately toneless and slightly...

It could be weather related- they cant blame covid anymore. I know HGV leaf springs ( not used much anymore) used to be more prone to breakage in cold weather.

Dependant on the forage available in the particular year and dependant on occupancy of the kit. Also dependant on an encyclopedia of other factors  60kg was our absolute worst year ,480 was the best. This year has been a disaster so far but in the last fortnight they've brought it back...
