• Hi all and welcome to TheWoodHaven2 brought into the 21st Century, kicking and screaming! We all have Alasdair to thank for the vast bulk of the heavy lifting to get us here, no more so than me because he's taken away a huge burden of responsibility from my shoulders and brought us to this new shiny home, with all your previous content (hopefully) still intact! Please peruse and feed back. There is still plenty to do, like changing the colour scheme, adding the banner graphic, tweaking the odd setting here and there so I have added a new thread in the 'Technical Issues, Bugs and Feature Requests' forum for you to add any issues you find, any missing settings or just anything you'd like to see added/removed from the feature set that Xenforo offers. We will get to everything over the coming weeks so please be patient, but add anything at all to the thread I mention above and we promise to get to them over the next few days/weeks/months. In the meantime, please enjoy!

    Festool ts55 blades

I don’t have a spare blade for mine so what do you recommend? On Amazon I can get 4 Saxton blades for £32.99 or 3 Trend £48.99. The saxton seem to cheap to me but they all have different amounts of teeth a the Trend are all 48 tooth. What should I do I don’t use it much at the moment but that...

    Captive fasteners

Slide hammer will pull them out the only thing is the thread would be hard to match. A flat screwdriver will probably work you need some protection like a wallpaper scraper between the wood and screwdriver. Pete

Glad you got through the op ok, it seems daunting the amount of time but it will be worth it. Good to know you pain level is so low you don’t need painkillers. When I did my quadriceps tendon it seem like it was a very long time while I had the leg brace on, but once it was off I got back to...

I think that’s the best thing as you will heal quicker. Check out the achilles repair videos on YouTube (not the real operation no blood) Pete

Well, that day didn't go to plan.

I think they sew your trendon ends back together so they heal faster than if there isn't a gap. I read they drill holes in your knee cap to sew your quadriceps tendon back on. Pete
