• Hi all and welcome to TheWoodHaven2 brought into the 21st Century, kicking and screaming! We all have Alasdair to thank for the vast bulk of the heavy lifting to get us here, no more so than me because he's taken away a huge burden of responsibility from my shoulders and brought us to this new shiny home, with all your previous content (hopefully) still intact! Please peruse and feed back. There is still plenty to do, like changing the colour scheme, adding the banner graphic, tweaking the odd setting here and there so I have added a new thread in the 'Technical Issues, Bugs and Feature Requests' forum for you to add any issues you find, any missing settings or just anything you'd like to see added/removed from the feature set that Xenforo offers. We will get to everything over the coming weeks so please be patient, but add anything at all to the thread I mention above and we promise to get to them over the next few days/weeks/months. In the meantime, please enjoy!

I'm intrigued, being possessed of a Jet 1221 (smallish lathe), but have you jinxed yourself Andy? By inserting the subtle-as-a-brick Baldrick reference? Hurry up! I want to see your plan!!😎 S.

Things have not changed much. This approximates to our steam and diesel loco's layout; we can couple up using a spiral hook on a stout pole. No need to "go under".

Best place for them. There was SO much poor design in that car. Those tiny windows on a sunny day? Pah!

    The Tapestry

I remember it in Bayeaux. Also remember it being underwhelming by comparison with the secret underground resistance and WW1 centre not far away.

Arrr! We don't have the luxury of a shed to work in! (Cue M.P. sketch). Spent my first two years acquiring Eskimo skills just to be able to work.

    Where were you …

In Biology Lab 3, preparing stuff for the impending new term, my technician came running in, "switch on the telly!". My colleague Michael, newly returned from his stateside holiday (including the viewing gallery high up in the W.T.C.) just stood there, staring at the T.V., endlessly repeating...

    Shop air filter

"Invented in 2020 by Richard Corsi and Jim Rosenthal, this setup yields a very large surface area for air intake. An inexpensive, do-it-yourself air purifier made by taping four or five HVAC filters to a standard box fan." Thanks Doug.
